The next regional conference of the Australasian Region titled “Biometrics by the Border” is to be held from 26-30 November at the Mantra on Salt Beach, Kingscliff which is located just south of the Gold Coast in Australia. It is a 20 minute drive from the Gold Coast Airport and 1 hour 45 minute drive from Brisbane Airport.
Note: Time Difference
Please note that Kingscliff is located in New South Wales and as such will be operating under daylight savings time (Australian Eastern Daylight Time – EDT) for the duration of the conference. This means the time in New South Wales will be 1 hour ahead of the time in Queensland (Australian Eastern Standard Time – EST) – for example 3pm in Queensland is 4pm in New South Wales. Please ensure to factor this time difference into calculations when planning travel arrangements, especially flights from Brisbane or Gold Coast Airports.
